As the vision of zero fatalities and the need of energy-efficient driving, topics on automated and connected driving are attracting attention from a number of researchers and engineers in the field of automotive technology. Many automobile manufacturers, research institutes and technology companies have been working intensively on autonomous driving technology in recent years with good success. This special interest session is organized to provide you with information on researches which address the advanced technology development and technical challenges, from the vehicle control aspects, as well as the testing and system evaluation method.
The speakers in this session will address the ongoing activities in current projects of automated and connected driving.
